Julia Baun is Siftwell’s Director of People & Talent, bringing more than a decade of experience leading talent strategy, organizational development, and people operations for growth-minded, mission-driven companies. She specializes in helping organizations build the foundational people systems that enable teams to scale with clarity, confidence, and intention.

Julia’s work spans the full spectrum of People and Talent functions, from executive recruiting, onboarding, and performance management to compensation architecture, capability building, and leadership development. She has led the creation of company-wide job architectures, leveling frameworks, structured interview systems, and equitable compensation models that help expanding companies mature their people practices while maintaining the agility needed for fast-paced growth.

Before joining Siftwell, Julia advised a wide range of emerging companies across technology, healthcare, analytics, and professional services. Her work regularly included designing embedded talent acquisition programs, leading executive searches, guiding founders through early leadership hiring, and standing up scalable HR processes that support operational rigor and cultural alignment.

Julia is known for her thoughtful, systems-driven approach to building teams, her ability to translate organizational goals into practical people strategies, and her belief that great companies start with great talent and clear expectations.
