Julie Zawislak

Julie Zawislak is Chief of Staff at Siftwell, serving as a strategic partner to the founders.

Prior to joining Siftwell, Julie held similar roles to senior executives at Honeywell, Cardinal Innovations, and Stroz Friedberg. Julie specializes in executive readiness and communications, managing multi-disciplinary projects, championing leadership’s priorities and liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders, including investors and the board of directors.

Julie spent the first 13 years of her career in corporate finance at Deutsche Bank, Barclays and EA Advisors, focusing on the telecom and technology sectors.  She started in analytical roles producing complex M&A and financing models and progressed to business development where she led teams in all aspects of the transaction cycle including pitching, modeling, due diligence, negotiation, SEC documentation, roadshow preparation, and underwriting.

Julie graduated, with honors, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a B.S. in Business Administration (finance).  Julie lives in Charlotte and when she’s not working, you can find her with her nose in a book, volunteering, learning to play the piano (for the second time), or hiking.
