Mark Liber
Mark Liber is the SVP of Growth at Siftwell Analytics, focused on empowering Siftwell’s partners and clients with what they need to drive impact for members and patients.
Prior to joining Siftwell, Mark spent 4 years at Kaia Health, a digital musculoskeletal therapy company, where he was the company’s first US employee and focused on business development and US market entry. Mark held a number of roles as Kaia scaled to reach millions of US patients, most of them partner and market-facing, but derived the most joy from seeing populations adopt Kaia’s product and see meaningful improvements in their levels of chronic pain and overall function.
Mark joined Kaia Health from his previous role at StartUp Health, a digital health venture fund and advisory firm with over 270 companies in its portfolio. At StartUp Health, Mark served as a key healthcare advisor to portfolio companies in the areas of business development, fundraising, and team growth, and was an active member of the company’s investment team. Mark also heavily worked within the healthcare industry to consult on innovation and help connect healthcare stakeholders, such as payors, providers, and pharma, to innovators solving their strategic challenges. Prior to StartUp Health, Mark was a published biomedical and healthcare researcher and earned his Masters in Health Informatics with a concentration in Healthcare Policy and Economics from Weill Cornell Medicine at Cornell University. In his spare time, you can find Mark working with small companies to help them apply for SBIR/STTR funding through various government agencies (NSF, NIH, Defense Health Services) and actively advocates for digital health-related legislation and regulatory changes as a Connected Health Initiative steering committee member.
Outside of healthcare, Mark is an avid Crossfitter and sports fan (Arsenal FC and Chicago sports) and lives in NYC with his wife Stephanie and Australian shepherd Jackson.
